sketchers shape ups

These shoes are actually comfortable. I have a bulging disk at L3-S5 and a knee that i have had an arthroscopy on. It is much easier to walk in these shoes at a greater distance than I can in regular sneakers. Because I have a drop-foot on my right leg, the shape-ups allow my feet to roll from heel to toe with no effort. Regular sneakers do not offer this kind of support or comfort. I am all in.
I have seen some stores that have the shape-ups but only in a limited color and quantity. The sketchers web site is about $10 more per pair and you pay a hefty shipping fee of about $30.
Love my sktchers

I love these shoes. I wear them at work and I am on my feet 10 - 14 hours, 3 days a week.
I do alot of walking and standing at work and I find these shoes to be one of the best pair
I have ever had for work. Couldn't be happier with them. I found them to be true to size. Some
say size up a 1/2 size but I found them to be true to my size. Also, for on line shopping, these
shoes were the best price through Amazon.
does what it says

Wow! This product really works. I was trying to lose weight after a pregnancy and wore these. I don't have any cellulite on my legs or butt! All I did was wear them when I did errands. Amazing results.

Despite the size running a little big, costing way too much, and not exactly being asthetically pleasing, I'd give thumbs up for these shoes. I'm a server in a pretty busy restaurant, doing 8-10 hours shifts completely on my feet, so I figured why not try to get the most out of it? For the first week of wearing the shape-ups to work, I really felt it in my thighs and butt. (Also, a warning to servers/bartenders: the way these shoes work is to make you slightly unbalanced with the curved sole of the shoe so that your muscles work harder to keep you stabalized while you're standing/walking. This makes carrying trays/several plates or drinks at one time a tad bit risky until you get used to them! I'm proud to say that I made it through without biting it in the middle of the dining room, but I had a few pretty close ones.) After the first week, I got used to the feel of walking in them, (and driving in them takes some getting used to by the way). To be completely honest, I don't know if they really reduce cellulite and help tone, etc. I get how they're supposed to work, but I can't honestly tell you that I see a visable difference. What I do know, is that 1. I felt something when I first wore them so it's definitely strengthening something. 2. They have been very effective at strengthening my ankle muscles at least. I have a problem with a weak ankle (previously broken, I do resistence training for the muscles around it) that I feel has gotten stronger since I started wearing the shoes (Noticable to me because I feel more stable doing one legged standing yoga poses) and 3. They're pretty comfortable. I do not recommend them at all to those of you that have flat feet---these will probably hurt like hell for you. But, for someone with average arches, I got through 10 hour days waitressing and my feet felt pretty good. I know know if they feel over-a-hundred-dollars-good, but they felt good.
PS- If you happen to wear black uniform pants like I do, just get ones that are about and inch too long. Completely disguises the fact that you are wearing shape-ups.
great but no cute

After I had my son I was really limited on activities I could do. I started to walk him everyday around noon for about an hour I was happy to be out and mobile but it didn't feel like a work out until I got the sneakers. I immediatly would feel the burn on my legs and butt and it, combination with my c section wrap it was a great combo to get me back in shape quick. I never walked a full hour again I only walked 1/2 hour a day and it was enough of a burn
I just recently brought the black ones for work.I work in retail as a support manager so my dress code in all back and fairly casual but I'm lapping our building 100's of times a day so I feel like Im getting a bit of work out in since with a newborn and my job getting to my gym is really low on the list of things to do but my the end of my work day my butt and legs are sore.
The one thing is they aren't the cutest sneakers ever I think the rebok ones are a bit cuter but I dont wear them for cute I wear them for definition so I guess it really doesn't matter and I don't know how the rebok ones are, my friend got them and she says she can't feel any differernce. My mom got the avon ones because they were cheaper than these but I don't think she gets it...she thought she was gonna loose weight from them but that's not what they do they just firm from my experience but thats what I wanted..no more jiggle.
BTW they do nothing for my back and i have 3 lumbar herniations, so my back is always bad. Always!!
