I walked 30 min am and 30 min pm daily, the first week I got these. I had no break in period. If you follow the instructions and keep your shoulders back, chest up and eyes forward, you will be in the position to create the rocking, rhythmic, motion that will work all the muscles you want worked; and help you keep your balance. One caution- making sudden changes in direction can knock you off balance. I needed to go up a half size. My lower back felt terrific due to the extra cushioning the Shape Ups provide when walking on hard concrete. Sadly, it is too icy and slippery to wear during our Winter weather. Highly recommended.

The shoe is comfortable and stylish. Since I'm short I like the extra boost of height. I wore this shoe at Walt Disney world and I did a lot of walking. This shoe makes the back of your leg work a little harder to balance so you can strengthen your back muscles. But you still have to walk fast to get a good workout.

The brown color with the brown laces gives the dressier tone I wanted. That's why I ordered from Amazon instead of buying from the local store where the color was not available. I very narrow feet & wish skechers came in narrows but am pledased with the product.
Amazon got them here quickly; they arrived when they were expected in spite of storms.
I definitely needed these shoes. They take longer to break in, but for me at least that seems more a matter of bringing me into a more proper & healthful alignment than in the shoes molding to me.
My order came quickly & the shoes are worth the price. They are correcting bad habits I'd gotten into in the last couple of years. My husband & I bought a house with a yard that needed more work than we realized. I dove into the work but didn't stay aware of how some of the movements were affecting me. Walking & exercizing in these shoes is correcting my situation.

OMG!!! I cannot stress the comfort and benefits of these shoes, I think I'm starting to see a derrierre develop! I wear them everywhere, they're so comfortable and they seem to make me more energetic. I bounce up and get motivated to go do things outdoors, I used to just sit in front of the tv set, but now I feel like getting out and doing things, like walk out to swap meets, plant nursey's or just take a stroll in the neighborhood!
